Powell First Floor 

This first-floor remodel completely reimagined an outdated, undersized kitchen and surrounding spaces to create a more functional and spacious layout. The wall between the kitchen and sitting room was removed, allowing the entire area to become a spacious kitchen designed for both everyday living and entertaining. The existing window was replaced with one of the same width but positioned higher to accommodate the new cabinetry layout while maintaining natural light. Custom cabinetry and thoughtfully selected cabinet accessories maximize storage and functionality throughout.

The existing half-bath was transformed into a dedicated mudroom, while the laundry was relocated downstairs, allowing the former laundry room to become the new half-bath.

Earthy, inviting finishes bring warmth and personality to the design, including a green island, coordinating green backsplash tile, wood floating shelves, and a wood bench top in the mudroom. New tile flooring throughout the kitchen, mudroom, and half-bath creates a cohesive foundation for the refreshed first floor.
